Who we are?

The Association Ceramicists of Catalonia is a non profit aim entity built the year 1986. Ever since has been binding professionals inside the ceramics world, and has worked to promote and to let know artistic and commercial ceramics throughout Catalonia, the rest of the country as well as abroad.

Actually is formed by more than 350 active members, amongst ceramicists, potters, students, collectors and artists.

The main objectives of the association are the following:
 

Fundamental objectives

• The disclosure and encouragement of the Ceramics in all its facets, by means of exhibitions, acts, and fairs addressed to the great public.
• The creation of a meeting point, discussion, communication and exchange amongst ceramicists, promoting and facilitating the show of the work to the public interested.
• The permanent formation, the search and the transmission of information amongst the members through courses, conferences and meetings.

Our venue

In order to carry out the task, the ACC counts with an open space to the public at the centre of Barcelona where offers a permanent show of studio ceramics and organizes conferences and temporal exhibitions of recognized ceramicists either national or international.

The headquarters office of the ACC is as well a meeting point for the membership that can as well dispose of their own space and enjoy the services that have reserved at the secretariat, the library, the documentation service, and the specialized library.
